- Water in Reykjavik bears unfortunate resemblance to rotten egg in scent.  Hot water makes it worse.

- Locals are friendly and welcoming... once you start them talking.

- BUNDLE UP and enjoy the cafe culture.

- Iceland knows winter outer-wear.

- If you don't eat meat, milk, or wheat... well, good luck.

- Rent In Reykjavik is a great company.  Our house was stocked with everything, including dvds and soy sauce.

- Icelanders are required to learn (in order) Icelandic, English and Danish.

- Iceland turns Lukas Euro.

- Iceland Crew Fem Division turned Lukas into a cuddlebear!

- Stick with the gummies, avoid the chocolate.  Polos for cookies, for gummies try the most creative shapes you can find.

- Hot chocolate is uniformly good to great.
